Carol Foster, ASA, is certified by the American Society of Appraisers with designations in antiques and decorative art and residential contents. As a generalist Carol appraises furniture, decorative art – prints, paintings, sculpture, quilts, glass, porcelain and pottery, etc. She has extensive experience and expertise in many areas including antique dolls. Carol was one of the appraisers at “Pittsburgh’s Hidden Treasures, An Antiques Appraisal Show” at the Senator John Heinz History Center in downtown Pittsburgh. It televised on KDKA-TV. One of the items she appraised was a music box topped by German bisque dolls by Heubach.
Carol also conducted an appraisal for: “Family Circle” magazine. See May 2008 – Family Circle for article about antiques. Carol was one of the contributors and has been listed on the Family Circle website.
