Pair of Muriel Bruyere Artist Dolls. Height 10”
Won First prize ribbon from doll show, Pittsburgh Doll Club, 1964. The young boy with modeled brown/black painted hair, nicely modeled and hand painted facial features. Cloth body with modeled clay hands, upper legs and feet with painted black shoes. Dressed in linen shirt and purple satin jacket. Complete with pale yellow linen trousers, all in good condition.
The little girl with brown/black modeled curls and center parted hairdo. Expressive hand painted facial features. Modeled clay arms and hands, cloth body and modeled lower legs and painted in shoes. Dressed in pearl necklace, navy dotted Swiss nylon dress with applied rickrack. Undergarments include petticoat and pantaloons, all original and in good condition. Rare and hard to find, not many made.
