Pair German bisque girl and boy child dolls. Closed mouth. Height 5 ½”.

Identifying Marks: Back of boy’s head has identifying numbers 39 over 13.
Dressed in original wool coats and hats, blonde mohair curled wigs. Hair is braided across the forehead. Bisque heads with inset stationary eyes (bluish eyes with dark pupils), nicely blushed, closed mouth.
Clothing is sewn on, not allowing full inspection of the bodies.
All paper mache body with bent arms and straight legs; lower legs have painted on shoes and socks. Girl has woolen coat and white muff with matching hat. Original coarse undergarment on girl. Condition note: glue on bottom girls white shoe that I have not tried to remove.
The boys clothing is a woolen two-piece outfit complete with hat. Another condition note: boy’s leg is split and appears as an original defect. Shoes are very crude. Back of hair is sparse.
Overall very good condition, and all original. Circa 1900. $675.00
