Set of Madame Alexander Dionne quintuplets complete with nurse and furniture. Identifying mark on dolls – raised lettering that reads: Alexander. This set of dolls appears to have been a set and not purchased separately, purchased as a set. Complete with painted white furniture. Crib, playpen, highchair, low potty-chair, and a scooter. All condition noted and pictured as best as possible.
One (H. 13”) Composition nurse with no identifying to labels or marking. Has very sparse light blonde human hair wig, glued to head. Head has very light crazing and has three relatively large cracks and one small crack around eyeholes. Green sleep eyes (tin), with one eye opening with sparse lash, the other good. Body in relatively good condition with some crazing, thumb paint chipped and feet with damaged toe areas. Appears to be wearing cotton nurse outfit and hat. No shoes.
(#1) Quintuplet– Composition bent limb baby, with molded painted hair. One eye has paint loss and head has very light crazing overall. Body is good but needs restrung. Wearing original cotton taffeta short dress, bib that reads embroidered in pink Emelie. Complete with slip and original diaper, missing bonnet.
(#2) Quintuplet– body in good condition, except face has major crack through center. Wearing original dress, slip, diaper, booties, and bonnet.
(#3) Quintuplet- in overall good condition except right arm, shoulder has small crack through paint. Wearing original bonnet, dress (no slip), diaper, booties, bonnet, and bib embroidered Annette.
(#4) Quintuplet– Composition in good condition except for toe rub. Wearing original dress, slip, diaper, bonnet, booties, and embroidered bib with Cecilia.
(#5) Quintuplet– Composition bent limb baby in relatively good condition, except for small crack under nose and two cracks extending through center of lips. Also, cheek area with paint loss. Wearing original dress, slip, diaper, bonnet, and bib embroidered Marie.
