From computer research:

The K & K Toy Company, Inc. was founded in New York City, in 1915 as an importer of mostly German bisque head dolls and as the company name indicates, probably toys too.  Some antique K & K made dolls are notably; Flossie Fisher’s Own Doll, Kewpie dolls, Hollikids, Happifats, Bye-Lo Baby dolls and others, as well as supplying composition doll bodies often marked bisquette or fiberoid and cloth or kid bodies to other doll makers.  K & K doll and toy products were distributed by both George Borgfeldt and Butler Brothers.  A 1924advertisement states that the company name K & K stands for Kept Klean.
